Environmental engineer, with a PhD in mountain meteorology and 9 years of academic experience in research and teaching. Currently working in a regional environmental protection agency (>6 years) to coordinate the development of the Mitigation and Adaptation Strategy of the Autonomous Province of Trento (Italy).
Expert in meteorology and climatology, with applications in energy, hydrology and air quality. Skilled in climate data analysis, (geo)statistics, weather/climate modelling, downscaling of climate projections, GIS, and scientific/technical writing. Experienced in writing and managing European projects and currently involved in climate change adaptation initiatives (Horizon and Interreg funding programmes).
I am strongly committed to teamwork, networking, climate action, environmental protection, communication, and education of young people and adults on climate change and sustainability issues.
I participated as an Observer in COP26 and COP28 and as a scientific expert for a youth participatory journalism project.
