As part of the Playground is Nature pilot project, to be implemented in 3 pilot schools in the municipality of Barcelos, a 50-hour training workshop began in October 2024 to enable teachers to work with students to co-create NbS ideas for their schools' playgrounds. This training will run until mid-December and has trainers specialising in the project's themes such as NbS, the implementation of participatory budgeting and the importance of playing in nature.
