The first Participatory Assembly in Lugar dos Remédios begins with an exhibition of the work developed by Social Work students in the “Social Work Research Laboratory” and “Social Intervention Seminar” units, coordinated by Prof. Eduardo Marques (UAc). The territorial mapping focuses on the “Water Route – Hell’s Window Trail” as a space for the development of the TRANS-Lighthouses project, promoting Nature-Based Solutions and participatory community governance. This is followed by a meeting with the community, where suggestions for improvements in the parish are presented, including a community visit to the trail. The Assembly also includes the presence of the Mayor of Lagoa, who listens to the participants and shares his opinions. The event concludes with a social gathering, featuring pork sandwiches and beverages.
